Iraqiya TV: Maliki assigns Dulaimi as MOD

Baghdad (NINA) – Iraqiya semi-official TV channel said that Prime Minister, Nouri Al Maliki assigned Minister of Culture, Saadoun Al Dulaimi, as Minister of Defense.
The assignment comes one day after the bloody attacks against 10 provinces which led to 330 wounded and dead, Iraqi army and police among them.
A number of MPs criticized in press statements the continuation of crises of the security ministries and considered them as reasons behind the recent security deterioration.
Iraqiya Slate rejected earlier nominating Dulaimi for this post which it regards as its electoral right and admitted in Erbil agreement.
