A source from within the meeting of heads of political blocs in the current home of President Jalal Talabani for a proposal to a succession of ministers / Iraq / bag for the defense agency, and Abdel Karim al-Samarrai is the closest to this position.
The source said: "After Samarrai assumption of the defense portfolio by proxy has been agreed in principle to grant / Iraq / set a ceiling of 3 months for the selection of a candidate for this ministry."
The source noted that al-Maliki told explicitly that the Iraqi Ministry of Defense is not a share but the share component is Sunni. "
