Just Hopin's (Currency Newshound) take on today's UN events

Just Hopin: A new resolution or a modified version of the original UNAMI mandate resolution will provide details on items still needed under UNAMI's efforts in Iraq. The resolution will likely list items Iraq still must achieve while under Chapter VII (as discussed in last weeks briefing) and the resolution may provide a new approach to making these items and others more successful.

When the 2010 UNAMI extension was voted upon it indicated that Iraq could call for a review meeting (for lack of better words) prior to the 1 year mandate expiration. Since the resolution was extended once again I anticipate this same language to be included which would not setback a CH VII release a full year...but whenever Iraq determines it is ready for release based upon the guidelines of the mandate extension.

Complete details will be provided shortly by the UNSC. Keep in mind todays ruling was neither bad nor good. Actually it was highly anticipated.
